“Do not regret growing older. It is a privilege denied to many.” – Unknown.
Ain’t that the truth! You would’ve never guessed how bad I dreaded turning 27 for weeks.. PAUSE! Did I say 27? just kidding, I actually meant 20 **GRIN**. It seemed so darn OLD and boring, but then I came across that positive quote and it just made me realize that it has nothing to do with the numbers itself but the journey.. needless to say this is now on my top quotes of all times (Yea!).
I can’t believe January is already coming to a close.. my goodness, wasn’t it just yesterday we were shouting HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!? Wow. Time, indeed waits for no one.
But I must confess, January has been extraordinarily good to me. The changes/goals I intended for 2013 are well on their way and so far, so good. I am very proud of the things God has enabled me to start, I can only hope it gets better and better. One of the changes going on is career/cont. education related, I must say it’s going well (not as bad as I thought) which is good. I can’t wait to start opening those doors God is setting up honestly. I’m hopeful, excited and nervous but most definitely grateful.
So excited that I feel like dancing. Haha. Excuse me while I step away and do stanky leg and harlem shake :).
Till Next Time. xoxo.
2013 is here, and so am I!
I’m beyond ecstatic and so thankful. I have my health, my family and friends who are just a superb support system.
So it’s not unusual that many people come up with New Year Resolutions around this time of the year… most of which they end up hanging up anyway before the 2nd week in January (HA!). Or am I just speaking out of experience here?.. I doubt it.
In place of making resolutions, I have decided this year I am going to make goals/expectations. I pulled a marker and paper, and wrote somethings that I want to accomplish by the end of the year pertaining to different aspects of my life; personal, financial, career/education, spiritual, etc. (more…)
So today is the 20th and it is officially Spring!!!… I am super excited and so happy that the sun is finally out (it has for some days now) and it’s super nice outside. I hope you all enjoy your spring and hopefully allergies will stay away from those of us with allergy issues. Or just stock up on Allegra and co like I do 😀
Ahhh, yes SUN! You all know what that means… no bundling up so much anymore, which also means less worries about getting sick (at least for me). Oh and PINKBERRY!!!
Now I am not a fan of sweets, I like my sweets to a minimum. I am the kind of person that will dilute her juice with water just enough just because, and I like veggies more now than ever… (more…)
I know, I know, it has been awhile but nothing much is going on in this blessed life. Everything as far as health goes is going really well and I have God to thank for that.
Few things I have been doing to stay healthy are basically staying indoors for the most part. I, for one, am the person who gets sick only when I’m very stressed or exposed to the cold too much. So knowing this, and been admitted into the hospital twice last year and 3 ER visits, have made up my mind to stay indoors for most part this winter. I also have the weather to thank too actually, this winter has not been so dramatic; temperatures has been at a decent degree, only one snowstorm since I came back to the country… (more…)
