Hi Guys,

I know, I know, it has been awhile but nothing much is going on in this blessed life. Everything as far as health goes is going really well and I have God to thank for that.

Few things I have been doing to stay healthy are basically staying indoors for the most part. I, for one, am the person who gets sick only when I’m very stressed or exposed to the cold too much. So knowing this, and been admitted into the hospital twice last year and 3 ER visits, have made up my mind to stay indoors for most part this winter. I also have the weather to thank too actually, this winter has not been so dramatic; temperatures has been at a decent degree, only one snowstorm since I came back to the country… all in all it has been great for me. I drink fluid like nobody’s business and I stay warm at all times (at least I strive to), even on my birthday I made it a point to trade my typical dress up in nice dresses that will not allow me to layer up and keep warm for a more casual trousers and top type outfit, which allowed me to still layer up and look cute.

Speaking of birthdays, I feel old!!!! 26 was not so festive for me, I was in a funk for a little bit at the start of the day but thank God for good friends and family. The day turned out to be just what I wanted. It was so much love, laughter and just being grateful for another year. I didn’t think I would be where I am today at 26 but I am still grateful, it was all preordained anyway with God. There’s a saying that goes “Man proposes while God disposes”, no matter what I thought will be and how much I fight for it to be, it’s not my choice. God has been good and gracious though through it all and I’m truly thankful.
